Donna J. Bevan-Lee, PhD, MSW, is a respected pioneer in the treatment of addictions, codependency, and trauma, with more than 35 years experience as a psychotherapist and clinical social worker. Dr. Bevan-Lee’s innovative treatment model offers a combination of individual and group therapy, EMDR, and intensive workshops to help clients reclaim their lives and relationships. In particular, her trauma-based, shame-free treatment for sexual addiction has produced consistently high rates of recovery. Dr. Bevan-Lee is a frequent presenter at conferences and universities on domestic violence, addictions, and the long-term impact of child abuse. She is a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, and a Consultant to the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Patrick Means, MA, is a psychotherapist, author, and lecturer. In addition to his work as a therapist, Pat has directed a recovery agency for sexual addicts and their partners, hosted a syndicated radio show on recovery and relationships, and is the author of Mens Secret Wars and The Boundaries Book. He has conducted trainings on treatment for sex and relationship addiction in the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. A significant portion of Pat's clinical work is focused on the treatment of trauma and loss, depression, and relationship issues. He is a member of the Association for Addiction Professionals and the Society for the Psychological Study of Men and Masculinity.
